From ball control to tactical awareness, our drills build better footballers. See our training in action as we turn practice into performance on the pitch.

Watch our Under-8 boys in a ball possession drill. We teach players to stay calm, keep the ball, and work as a team from the very beginning.

This drill focuses on ball possession and rotation. You can hear the coach encouraging communication, which is key to developing patient, intelligent team play.

An indoor session working on body shape to turn when receiving a pass. We break down movements to improve scanning, first touch, and high-intensity turns.

A 3-attackers-versus-1-defender challenge. This drill teaches a very important principle of defense: applying constant pressure on the ball carrier.

A classic 1v1 battle. These drills are crucial for developing both attacking creativity and defensive tackling skills.

The "keep-up" challenge is a fun way to improve ball control and touch. We encourage our players to master the ball.

Our 10-year-old goalkeeper Ojaswi is so passionate he comes to training with his gloves already on. We provide specialized goalkeeping drills to nurture that passion.

"Only bangers allowed" is the rule in this shooting drill. We build the confidence to take powerful shots from a distance.

A shooting competition between Dev and Aarav. Healthy rivalry in training pushes every player to improve their finishing skills.

Another 1-versus-1 challenge. Who will win? These competitive drills simulate real match situations.

About Core Skills Training

We keep our coach-to-student ratio between 1:12 and 1:15, so your child is not just one of many on a crowded pitch. Our coaches are on the field with them for every 90-minute session, offering real-time tactical advice and immediate correction. It is not about standing in line for a turn; it is about maximum touches on the ball.

Football is about habit. Whether we are training at Vinay Marg in Chanakyapuri or the turf at Paramount International School in Dwarka, our goal is to build muscle memory. We move beyond basic drills to focus on the 'beautiful game' concepts: scanning the field, body shape when receiving a pass, and intelligent positioning.

Our sessions are split into clear, actionable blocks. We start with technical mastery to improve first touch and ball control, then move into high-intensity conditioning. The final 30 minutes are almost always reserved for match play—5v5 or 7v7—because that is where the real learning happens. It is where 'Jaan jaaye par goal na jaaye' (let life go, but don't let a goal in) stops being just a slogan and becomes a mindset.

We train year-round, even through the Dilli ki January waali fog. This consistency helps players develop resilience, not just skill. We have separate buckets for sub-junior and youth players, ensuring that the drills match their physical development and maturity. You will see our players working on everything from 1-on-1 attacking duels to defensive pressure. We want them to leave the field knowing they are better than when they walked on. If you are looking for a place where hard work meets pure josh (energy), you have found it.

We are the DYFA family. Our coaches do not just stand on the sidelines; they are in the mix, shouting instructions and celebrating every goal with the kids. Whether your child is just starting or is ready for competitive leagues, we make sure they feel at home on the pitch.
