Laser Resurfacing for Acne Scars, Pores, and Texture
Stop chasing filters. We use science-backed laser and energy-based devices to actually remodel your skin texture, safely and predictably.
Microneedling Radiofrequency, or MNRF, is a highly effective treatment for skin rejuvenation. By delivering controlled radiofrequency energy through fine microneedles, it stimulates your skin's natural collagen and elastin production. This helps tighten skin, smooth acne scars, and refine pores for healthier, firmer skin from within.
The CO2 laser is a powerful anti-aging solution that stimulates collagen and triggers the skin's natural healing process. It is excellent for firming the skin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, and improving overall texture. With proper care under my supervision, the results continue to improve for weeks after the session.
The CO2 laser is an excellent anti-aging tool for skin resurfacing. At my clinic, I use the Fraxis Duo, which is a top-tier CO2 machine. Just three to four sessions a year can significantly minimize pores, reduce wrinkles, and provide a noticeable tightening and lifting effect for smoother, renewed skin.
For an instant, radiant glow with minimal downtime, I often recommend a Pico Laser facial. Using the advanced Helios 4 machine, this treatment works by breaking down excess pigmentation and stimulating collagen. It is an excellent choice for improving dullness, tanning, and uneven skin tone, especially before a special event.
For a festive glow, my favorite medifacial is a Q-switch or Pico glow. This treatment combines hydration with a fractional laser to target superficial pigmentation and fine lines. It delivers an immediate radiant glow and can be done on the same day as your event, as there is no downtime.
While we cannot permanently shut open pores, we can significantly reduce their size and appearance. I use treatments like fractional CO2 or Erbium glass lasers to shrink pores and improve skin texture. Certain chemical peels, such as retinol or yellow peels, are also effective in minimizing their appearance.
When you need a quick fix for an instant glow, I have two go-to treatments. The HydraFacial provides deep cleansing and hydration, while the Helios Pico Laser brightens the skin and improves texture. Both are excellent options for achieving radiant skin with no downtime.
About this collection
Look, pores do not 'shut' permanently—anyone telling you otherwise is selling a myth. What we can do is significantly reduce their size and improve overall texture using fractional CO2 or Microneedling Radiofrequency (MNRF). These treatments work by creating controlled injury to trigger your own collagen production. It is a process that requires patience, a few sessions, and strictly avoiding sun exposure afterward, but it is the only way to genuinely change your skin quality from within rather than just masking it.
The Truth About Laser Resurfacing
Laser treatments are not magic wands; they are medical tools. When I treat acne scars or open pores, I am essentially telling your skin to 'rebuild itself.'
CO2 vs. MNRF: Which one is for you?
- CO2 Laser (Fraxis Duo): This is a powerhouse. It is excellent for deep-set scars and significant skin firming. It works by resurfacing the top layers of the skin, which helps in 'sanding down' uneven texture.
- MNRF (Microneedling Radiofrequency): Instead of ablating the surface, MNRF delivers heat deep into the dermis through microscopic needles. This is my go-to for texture improvement and dealing with active acne scenarios, as it is generally gentler on the surface.
Managing Your Expectations If you want results, you have to follow the rules. These treatments involve downtime. Your skin will be red, it will likely peel, and your aftercare protocol is non-negotiable. If you cannot commit to using proper sunscreen and avoiding harsh products post-laser, you are better off not doing the treatment at all.
Our Approach We do not guess. We start with a full consultation to assess your scar depth and skin elasticity. We map out the plan, explain the number of sessions required, and focus on long-term health, not just a one-time 'glow' that fades in a week. ठीक है? (Alright?)
FAQ
- Is it painful? We use topical numbing cream to keep you comfortable throughout the procedure.
- How many sessions do I need? It depends on your skin's response. Typically, a series of 3-4 sessions yields the most significant texture change.
- Can I do this before a wedding? No. Do not schedule resurfacing lasers right before a major event. Plan at least 4-6 weeks in advance to allow for full healing.
