Vitiligo treatment should be as unique as your story. Whether we are exploring medical stabilization or surgical repigmentation, my approach is rooted in science, honesty, and your specific goals.

This before and after shows the repigmentation progress on a patient's wrist just six weeks after a Melanocyte Transplantation procedure. This surgical technique is an excellent option for stable Vitiligo, where we transplant healthy pigment-producing cells to the affected areas to restore skin color.

This slide from one of my presentations outlines the primary goals of any surgical treatment for Vitiligo. My aim is to replace the lost melanocytes, achieve near-complete repigmentation with excellent color matching, and ensure there is no disfigurement of either the donor or recipient skin areas.

This video shows a slide from my lecture on Non-cultured Epidermal Suspension (NCES), a specialized surgical technique for Vitiligo. I focus on simplifying and refining these procedures to achieve consistent, natural-looking results for my patients with stable Vitiligo.

Here, I am presenting on the latest developments in the topical management of Vitiligo at the Vitiligo Foundation of India workshop. Medical treatments, including creams and oral medications, are a critical first step and are often used to stabilize the condition before considering surgical options.

In this clip from my talk at the DASIL World Congress, I am discussing the significant role of JAK inhibitors in dermatology. These newer therapies are a key part of my medical approach for certain cases of Vitiligo, and staying at the forefront of such research allows me to offer the most effective and proven treatments.

About My Surgical & Medical Approach

Before discussing surgery or advanced therapies, the first step is always mapping your vitiligo. We use Wood’s Lamp and digital dermoscopy to determine if your condition is currently active or stable. This distinction is non-negotiable, as it dictates whether we focus on medical management to stop the spread or move toward surgical options like melanocyte transplantation to restore pigment.
