I believe that to treat skin, you have to constantly learn. This is a look into my work beyond the clinic—speaking at conferences, workshops, and staying updated to bring you the best in skin science.

About My Life as a Dermatologist: Sharing Knowledge

You might wonder why a dermatologist spends so much time at conferences and workshops. It is because dermatology evolves every single day. When I am presenting at events like ACSICON or Cuticon, I am not just speaking—I am auditing new molecules, pressure-testing treatment techniques, and collaborating with global experts. This ensures that when you walk into my clinic in Goregaon, the treatment you receive is based on the absolute latest, peer-reviewed science, not just what was popular five years ago.

Dermatology is not static. If a doctor stops learning, they stop growing. That is why I prioritize being an active part of the dermatology community in Mumbai and across India.

Conference Insights and Peer Review

Whether it is conducting a hands-on workshop on fillers or discussing the nuances of IPL lasers for Indian skin types, these forums allow me to stress-test ideas with peers. I believe in rigorous peer review. Before I introduce a new laser or a peptide-based filler to my clinic, I need to see it in action, discuss safety protocols, and understand the potential risks.

What This Means for Your Care

It means you are not a test subject. We discuss the 'why' and 'how' of every procedure before we begin. You will often find me explaining the science of the skin barrier or the mechanics of a specific acid peel at these conferences, and I bring that same clarity to our consultations.

The Scientific Difference

Science is about being open to change. If a new study shows a better way to treat pigmentation or scarring, I want to know about it. My goal is to bridge the gap between clinical research and your daily routine. So, when you ask me about a viral trend, I can tell you exactly what the science says—because I have seen the evidence firsthand.
