About Wedding & Engagement Couples
I focus on the structural integrity of the drape. Whether you are wearing a delicate cotton kasavu or a rigid silk veshti, I use specific folding techniques to ensure your pleats stay crisp and secure through long ceremonies, without the use of heat or excessive pinning that could damage the fabric.
A groom's ensemble is more than just fabric. It is about how the garment sits, moves, and photographs. When I work with grooms, my goal is to blend tradition with a modern, sharp aesthetic.
My Approach to Groom Styling
- Precision Draping: Whether it is a traditional Kerala Kasavu mundu or a formal Iyer Panchakatcham, I prioritize silhouette management. I ensure the fabric drapes cleanly, removing bulk so you feel comfortable and look tailored.
- Secure and Reliable: Rituals involve a lot of movement. I use rust-proof pins and specific knotting techniques to lock your drape in place. You will not need to adjust your mundu or veshti mid-ceremony.
- Collaborative Styling: I work alongside your makeup artist and photographer. If you are having a pre-wedding shoot or getting ready for the Oonjal ceremony, I coordinate with the team to ensure the drape sits perfectly for those specific camera angles.
Styles I Cover
I handle both classic and contemporary looks. If you are aiming for a traditional temple look, I can style the bare-chested mundu look with precision. For modern, festive occasions like engagements or receptions, I love pairing veshtis with silk kurtas or printed shirts to create a cohesive, Adipoli look.
I travel to your venue—home, hotel, or resort—so you can get ready in comfort. Let us make sure you look as confident as you feel.
