About Creative Art & Painting
In our studio, we use homemade, yogurt-based paints and professional tools like squeegees, ensuring that even the youngest artists can explore color and texture safely. We prioritize the act of creating over the final result, allowing children to focus on how paint feels and how colors blend rather than worrying about mistakes.
Our Approach to Process Art
At our Paintbrush Playhouse sessions in Indiranagar, we view art as a sensory experience rather than a performance. This means your child will not just draw a picture to take home, but will experiment with the properties of materials. We use fresh ingredients like cooked spaghetti and non-toxic, taste-safe paints, meaning toddlers are free to explore with their fingers, sponges, or even their feet.
A Deeper Look at the Curriculum
We structure our workshops to bridge the gap between pure play and artistic development. We introduce children to concepts like color theory and global art history, including Indian styles like Kalamkari block printing, in ways that are accessible to young minds. We rotate our modules frequently to ensure every session feels new, whether we are sculpting with dough, creating mixed media collages, or exploring rhythm with live music.
Why Our Sessions Work
Our batches are kept small, typically ranging from 8 to 12 children. This ensures that every child gets the attention they need, while also making the space a comfortable environment for neurodivergent and differently abled children. We handle all setup and cleanup, so parents can simply bring their children and enjoy the creative energy of the room.
