Live Fusion: DJ meets Instruments
Music feels different when it happens live. I mix my DJ sets with live instruments like sax, flute, or percussion to bring a sophisticated, high-energy punch to your Sangeet or cocktail night.
A compilation of my live fusion sessions. Here you can see me jamming with a saxophonist and a singer, creating a unique musical experience that blends DJing with live performance for private parties.
I love collaborating with talented musicians to create a unique sound. This clip shows a jam session with a live flutist, where we fuse electronic beats with soulful melodies for a truly special performance at a private event.
About this collection
When you book this fusion set, I bring a professional session musician who jams live over my console mix. Because we are balancing digital output with live acoustic sound, you need to ensure your venue’s sound system is fully compatible with both inputs. I always coordinate directly with your AV team beforehand to handle the soundcheck and mic requirements so everything runs smooth.
How the Fusion Works
This isn't a standard pre-recorded playlist. It is a live improvisational act. I pair my DJ console with a talented instrumentalist—typically a saxophonist, flautist, or percussionist—who performs alongside my house, deep house, or Bollywood sets. The goal is to elevate your Sangeet or cocktail party by adding that organic, live-music element that gets people moving.
What to Expect
- The Dynamic: We perform in high-impact bursts. Think of the musician coming in for a 20-minute solo or a melodic hook over a deep house track, then stepping back to let the DJ set drive the energy. It creates a 'jugalbandi' effect that keeps guests engaged without feeling repetitive.
- The Setup: I bring my own Pioneer gear. The instrumentalist brings their kit. The main logistical variable is your venue's PA system. We need solid subwoofers and monitor speakers to capture both the crisp digital beats and the richness of the live instrument.
- Planning: Once you book, we discuss the vibe. Do you want a soulful, sunset-cocktail feel with a flute? Or a high-energy Sangeet floor-filler with a sax? I curate the fusion set based on your specific event flow.
Pricing Reality
This package covers both artists. It is an investment in a collaborative performance rather than a solo act. Since travel for both artists is required for destination events, please factor that into your planning. If your venue is in Goa or Jaipur, I have my logistics sorted, but for other cities, we need to finalize the travel arrangements early.
Henry Fernandes
I’m Henry, and I live for that moment when the crowd connects with the music. For these fusion sets, I personally coordinate with the instrumentalist to make sure our improvisations feel spontaneous rather than rehearsed. It’s about creating a vibe that stays with your guests long after the music stops.
