About Wedding & Sangeet Parties
I arrive 90 minutes early for sound checks because I know bad audio ruins a party. My sets are never static; I read the energy of the room to mix retro classics, Punjabi hits, and my own Bolly-Tech mashups in real-time. Whether it is a Roka, Mehendi, or a 4 AM afterparty, I am on the mic keeping the flow alive, not just hiding behind the console.
Great music sets the tone for your wedding, but a great DJ manages the flow. I don't just press play on a playlist. My approach is to bridge the gap between different generations and musical tastes, blending Punjabi beats for the family with deeper electronic sounds like House and Tech-House when the crowd is ready for it.
The Setup & Sound
I use industry-standard Pioneer NXS2 or CDJ 3000 setups, which means high-reliability performance and professional-grade audio quality. I bring my own MacBook Pro with a fully licensed library of high-quality audio files. If your venue has LED walls, I supply custom 'ANK' visual loops and motion graphics to match the mood, adding that concert-style production value to your Sangeet night.
Travel & Flexibility
While I am based in Delhi NCR and hold a studio at the Vinyl Turns Music Academy in Jahangirpuri, I am fully equipped for destination weddings. From the historic Neemrana Fort to resorts in Guwahati and Dehradun, I have the experience to coordinate with local venue sound engineers and adapt to any acoustic environment. Whether you need me for a 4-hour set or a 6-hour marathon covering the cocktail hour and afterparty, I come prepared to keep the energy levels high.
Collaboration
I often work alongside live musicians and dhol players to create a 'DJ-based band' experience. If you have specific 'Do Not Play' lists or particular genre preferences, we can iron those out in our 20-minute pre-event consultation call so you can enjoy your day with zero stress.
