When you book me for a fest, you are not just getting a playlist, you are getting a performer. I am always on the mic reading the room, reacting to what the students want, and hyping up the crowd to ensure the energy never dips. It is about building a connection between the music and the students, not just pushing play.
My Approach to Campus Energy
College fests are a different beast. You need a mix that hits home with a diverse crowd—everything from the latest chart-topping Bollywood tracks to heavy-hitting EDM drops and retro throwbacks. I handle this by constantly reading the crowd, shifting the tempo when the energy dips, and using my mic work to keep everyone engaged. If the crowd wants more Punjabi, I switch it up. If they want a massive EDM drop, I bring the bass.
Tech and Visuals
I bring the gear that makes the sound hit right. Whether it is a massive outdoor stage or a crowded indoor hall, I use professional Pioneer setups to ensure the transition between tracks is seamless. If your fest has big screens, I can also run my VDJ setup, syncing original music videos with the audio to add a visual layer that turns a regular set into a show.
Collaborative Power
I often roll with my crew—other DJs or dhol players. If you want to take the energy to another level, we can sync live percussion with my set to add that raw, organic punch that college crowds absolutely love. It turns the set into a multi-layered experience that keeps people talking long after the fest ends.
