A little peek behind the scenes at a studio maternity shoot! We start with some pampering to get you feeling amazing, then we play with different outfits, like this dreamy tulle gown and a classic velvet dress. I am there to guide you every step of the way so you feel comfortable and beautiful.
This is my happy place, combining work with a little beach time! I often do outdoor shoots at Mumbai's beaches, especially during that beautiful golden hour light. I bring all my gear to make sure we get stunning, professional shots, even with our toes in the sand.
Just me testing the lights before a client arrives! I always take a few moments to make sure the setup is perfect to create those soft, flattering, and timeless portraits you'll cherish forever. It’s these little details that make a big difference.
About The Studio Experience & Behind the Scenes
A lot of mamas worry about being 'stiff' in front of the camera, but honestly, the best photos happen when we just hang out. Whether we are in my home studio or at a beach in Mumbai, I usually spend the first chunk of our time just chatting, gossiping, or setting up the light so you feel totally at ease. You aren't just standing there; we are making memories, and I’m right there with you guiding every drape and angle.
When you book a session with earlymoments_photography, you aren't walking into a stiff studio set. Think of it more like meeting a friend who happens to have a camera, professional lights, and a closet full of gowns.
The Setup: Studio vs. Outdoor
- My Home Studio (Kurla): This is a closed-door, private space. It’s perfect for intimate bump shots where you want to feel relaxed. I have the wardrobe ready—velvet dresses, heavy gowns, drapes—so you don't need to stress about logistics. We include professional hair and makeup prep, so you start the session feeling like a queen.
- Outdoors: I track the Mumbai golden hour religiously. We head to parks or beaches, and I bring the portable gear. It’s natural, airy, and full of that 'glow' energy. Yes, it involves some walking and the occasional sandy toe, but that’s all part of the fun!
Why No Stiff Posing?
I don't believe in forcing smiles. If your partner is feeling awkward, we chat until they forget the camera is there. If your toddler is being a 'drama queen', we let them be a part of the shoot. My goal is to capture your 'tera mera sath' (our togetherness) energy, not a Pinterest template.
What We Handle
- Support: For outdoor shoots, I have an assistant to help with outfit changes and gown management. You focus on the glow; we handle the rest.
- Direction: You’ll never be left wondering where to put your hands. I guide you through movements that look flattering and feel natural.
- Comfort: If we need a break for water, snacks, or just to breathe, we take it. It’s your journey, and we’re here to celebrate it properly. Jai Shri Krishna!
