When I work on a set, I do not just loop tracks. I deconstruct the original song, strip it back, and build a new, driving tech-house beat around the vocal hook. Whether it is bringing the tabla into a techno breakdown or mixing harmonium live over a bassline, my goal is to keep that familiar melody while making the entire room move to a fresh, unexpected rhythm.
My signature sound is rooted in the idea of the 'Bolly Tech' flip. People recognize the lyrics, but the energy comes from the heavy, modern house percussion I layer underneath. I treat every set as a live performance rather than a static DJ gig.
I bring my own setup, including the harmonium, for those organic moments that ground the electronic sound. For larger shows, I layer in live percussion like the tabla or dhol to bring that raw, unpolished energy that a pre-recorded track just cannot replicate.
