I don't play pre-set playlists. I read the room and flip classics like 'Ramta Jogi' into high-energy techno drops live. Whether you want a pure Bolly-Tech vibe or a live fusion set with tabla and harmonium, my focus is on keeping the crowd louder than the speakers.
My approach is simple: read the crowd and flow. I specialise in Bolly-Tech—taking the Bollywood and Punjabi hits you grew up with and reimagining them with the heavy bass of techno and house music.
The Performance Setup
I treat every gig as a live production. For my Bolly-Tech sets, I provide custom 4K motion graphics to sync with the music energy. I do require specific console hardware—Pioneer CDJ 2000 NXS2 or 3000 series—to ensure the mix stays tight and the sound hits hard.
Live Fusion
If you want something distinct, I integrate live instruments. Mixing a live tabla player or a harmonium set over electronic beats brings a raw, soulful texture to the party that you won't get from a standard DJ setup. It works particularly well for sangeets where you want a blend of tradition and modern energy.
Where I Play
From clubs like Shiloh in Mumbai to festivals and private events in Pune, Bengaluru, and Rajkot, I travel where the music takes me. I also provide pre-event consultations, including run-of-show planning and 'Do Not Play' lists, so we’re on the same page before I even touch the console.
