Featured Graffiti Murals and Fine Art by Dexter
From gritty heavy metal graffiti to classical Krishna murals, this is my range. Every piece—whether a 10ft wall or a canvas—is built with layers, detail, and a bit of Mumbai street soul.
This is my take on Gino Ruggeri's Venus sculpture, brought to life as a painting. I focused on creating a realistic, three-dimensional feel using only paint, capturing the subtle play of light and shadow on the form.
A custom Indian mythological mural I painted, depicting the bond between Yashoda and Krishna. The entire piece is done in monochrome to emphasize the emotion and intricate details of the scene.
This mural, titled 'STATES OF MIND', is a large-scale piece exploring different human emotions. I used varied shading techniques on each face to give them a distinct character and depth.
Here's a look at the process behind the Yashoda and Krishna mural. From mixing the paint to adding the final details, you can see how I build up layers to create a realistic and expressive artwork.
An example of my concept work, a 'Space Age' cyborg figure sketched entirely with a ballpoint pen. This shows how I develop ideas around mechanical and sci-fi themes.
This 'AFTER LIFE' graffiti piece shows my roots in street art. It combines a goth aesthetic with mechanical lettering, creating a raw, industrial vibe right on the street.
A close-up of the Venus painting. You can see the smooth blending and layering used to replicate the look and feel of carved marble, a key part of my realism painting technique.
About Featured
When I work on these murals, it is not just about the final visual; it is about the layers. For a 100 sq ft feature wall, I start with a digital overlay so you see exactly how it fits your space before I even pick up a brush. Once that is set, it takes about 3 to 4 days of on-site work to get the shading and textures right, using high-quality acrylics that are built to last.
My art is not just one thing. One day I am spray-painting mechanical lettering for an 'After Life' graffiti piece, and the next I am fine-tuning the soft features of a Renaissance sculpture on canvas. This collection showcases that transition.
I do not do cookie-cutter. If you are looking at my Yashoda and Krishna murals, you will notice they are all about grayscale depth. I use fine brush-work rather than spray cans for these indoor mythological pieces to get that precise shading that makes the emotion pop. It is a different vibe from the high-contrast graffiti work, but the process is the same: start with a solid sketch, build the layers, and make it fit the wall.
My Process
- Customization: Whether it is a 2ft x 3ft canvas or a full feature wall, we start with a consultation to nail down the reference.
- Realism: My signature is using light, shadow, and texture to create depth, whether I am painting a marble sculpture or a mythological scene.
- Durability: I finish murals with a water-based sealant so you can actually wipe the wall clean, and canvas pieces get a double coat of varnish to fight off humidity—crucial for us in Mumbai.
If you have a wall that needs some life or a space that needs a piece of fine art, let's talk. I am based in Mumbai but I travel for projects across India. Check the details below to see what fits your space.
