My Personal Practice (Abhyasa)

My own daily practice is the foundation of my teaching. It is through this personal exploration and discipline that I continue to learn and refine what I share with my students.

Alignment and Hands-On Adjustments

I believe in building poses from a strong, correct foundation. I provide hands-on adjustments to help you understand the mechanics of each asana and ensure your practice is safe and effective.

Building Strength: Inversions & Arm Balances

For those ready to advance, we work on challenging inversions and arm balances like Sirsasana (headstand) and Bakasana (crow pose). Through consistent abhyasa, we build the strength and confidence to take your practice to the next level.

Deepening Flexibility: Backbends & Forward Folds

We systematically work on increasing flexibility through a variety of asanas. This includes deep forward extensions like Paschimottanasana and heart-opening backbends like Urdhva Dhanurasana.

Props for Deeper Practice

Props are not a crutch, but a tool for learning and exploration. We use blocks, straps, and chairs to support proper alignment for beginners and to help advanced students access deeper expressions of a pose.

The Spiritual Core of Yoga

Yoga is a spiritual journey rooted in Sanatan Dharma. We begin and end our practice with chanting and intention, connecting the physical asanas to the mind and breath.

Ashtanga & Hatha Class Flow

My classes blend the structure of Ashtanga Vinyasa with the foundational alignment of Hatha yoga. Here you can see students moving through various sequences, from standing poses to seated stretches.
