About Dance Collaborations
When we choreograph a duet or a group act, I don't just focus on the steps. I focus on formations. My approach ensures that even if your group has mixed experience levels, everyone stays in sync without looking stressed, keeping your performance natural and fun.
Collaboration is where the magic happens. When I work with pairs or groups, my priority is making sure no one feels left behind. Whether you are prepping for a Sangeet or a fun pre-wedding video, we keep the steps beginner-friendly so you can focus on the 'bhaav' (expressions) rather than just counting the beats.
My Approach to Collaborations
- Sync & Formations: For group numbers, I design stage blocking—entries, exits, and formation changes like circles or V-shapes—to ensure the performance looks professional even on a crowded dance floor.
- Custom Mixes: I don't believe in generic steps. I mix your chosen songs into a custom mashup that suits your group's energy, whether it's a slow semi-classical piece or a loud Bollywood dhamaka.
- For the Shy Dancers: I understand that not everyone is a natural performer. My routine structures include 'matkas and jhatkas' that are manageable for everyone, from your 6-year-old niece to your fun-loving chacha (uncle).
If you are in Bengaluru, we can meet at a local studio to nail those transitions. If your crew is scattered across the city, I offer digital support with slow-motion breakdown videos so everyone can practice on their own time. Let's make your performance the highlight of the event.
