First Dance Choreography: Your Love Story on Stage
Make your first dance the highlight of your wedding day. I’ll help you tell your story with steps that feel real, even if you’ve never danced before.
From being fans of Taylor Swift's "Lover" to making it their first dance song, this was a full-circle moment. I believe when you're meant to be, the universe conspires to bring you together, and your love story deserves the perfect soundtrack.
With a stage sparkling like the night sky, this couple exchanged rings and promises. Their dance was the perfect start to their new life together, full of grace and a little bit of filmy magic.
From an arranged marriage to a love that bloomed beautifully, their connection was undeniable. I choreographed this piece to reflect their journey, showing how two hearts can find their rhythm together.
Simple, sweet, and absolutely adorable. This couple's performance to a soulful Punjabi track was all about the connection, proving that you don't need complex moves to show your love.
They say opposites attract, and this couple is proof! This clip shows them practicing at home and then shining on stage. I love helping couples find their common rhythm, even if they are as different as Kashmir and Kanyakumari.
Ten years of friendship, watching "Goliyon Ki Rasleela" together, and now dancing to its songs at their wedding. This performance was a tribute to their journey from friends to life partners, full of fire and passion.
Phool samjhe the, but this couple turned out to be pure fire! Their performance to a high-energy Pushpa song was unexpected and totally electrifying. I love it when couples are ready to bring the drama and fun to the stage.
This duo is just goals! A happy, fun-loving couple who wanted their performance to be as vibrant as their personalities. We chose a peppy "Ishqiyaon Dhishkiyaon" track and they absolutely owned it.
She was obsessed with the idea of a dramatic, gun-themed dance, and we made it happen! From practicing the moves at home to killing it on stage, this performance was a whole vibe.
Chachu and Chachi brought back the 90s with their magical performance. It was a beautiful reminder of timeless romance, and they had the whole audience reliving the golden era.
About For the Bride & Groom: Your First Dance
Don't stress if you think you have two left feet. For first dances, I focus on 'chemistry over choreography'—I’ll pick moves that match your natural rhythm so you can actually look at each other while dancing instead of staring at your feet. We’ll choose a song that means something to you both, then break it down into simple, repeatable patterns you’ll remember, even when you're nervous on the big stage.
Your first dance is one of the few moments on your big day where you actually get to pause, look into each other's eyes, and just be. I make sure that moment feels like you. Whether you want a dreamy, slow-paced waltz or a fun, quirky Bollywood track, my approach is never about forcing rigid, complex steps.
The 'No Dance Experience' Myth
Most of the couples I work with start by saying they've never danced. That is my favourite starting point. If you aren't a dancer, we focus on 'expression coaching'—it is easier to fake a complicated move than a genuine smile. I handle the audio editing (tempo adjustments and smooth transitions), so you don't have to worry about the music cutting off midway or feeling awkward waiting for the next beat.
How We Work Together
- Song Selection: We start by finding a track that actually resonates with your journey, not just what's trending.
- The Process: We usually plan for 3-4 hybrid rehearsal sessions. If you are in different cities or locations, we can use Zoom to clear the basics, and I provide mirror-image tutorials you can practice at home.
- Event Day Confidence: My goal is to get you to a place where you aren't counting steps in your head, but enjoying the moment. By the time the event arrives, we’ll have done enough dry runs that the music feels like second nature, allowing you to just be present with each other.
Dance with Vanshika
Hey, I’m Vanshika! I honestly believe your first dance should feel like a conversation, not a stage performance. I love helping couples get past the 'I can't dance' nerves and just find that rhythm where they're genuinely enjoying the moment. Let’s make this a memory you’ll actually smile at when you watch your wedding video years later.
