About Keychain Korner: Amigurumi & Characters
I use a mix of acrylic and cotton yarns for these amigurumi charms because they need to be durable enough for your keys while staying squishy. If you are planning to use these on a daily driver bag, I recommend a quick spot clean if they ever get dusty rather than soaking them in water to keep the stuffing firm.
Every piece you see here is handmade from scratch. Whether it is those tiny bumblebee keychains or the reversible bouquet dolls, I put time into getting the tension and stuffing just right so they do not look limp after a week of use. For the reversible dolls, it is a fun piece of engineering where I stitch the outer floral petals to flip inside out into a doll. It is a bit of a challenge to get the stitching seamless, but it is worth it for that reveal.
