Janmashtami Mini-Sessions for Little Krishnas and Radhas
Transform your little one into a playful Bal Krishna or Radha with our magical, stress-free Janmashtami mini-sessions at our Kandivali studio.
A heart-melting smile from a little Bal Krishna. The setup includes a peacock backdrop, marigold garlands, and traditional props to create an authentic Gokul vibe for this festival costume toddler shoot.
Caught in the act! This adorable 'makhan chor' (butter thief) shot is a classic from my Janmashtami sessions, capturing the playful spirit of little Krishna with his hand deep in the butter pot.
The thoughtful pose of a little Kanha, holding his flute. I focus on capturing a range of expressions, from playful to serene, during these themed shoots.
The purest bond between Yashoda and her Kanha. This behind-the-scenes video shows a mother's joy as she plays with her baby during our Janmashtami photoshoot.
Our Janmashtami sessions are for little Radhas too! This portrait of an older girl dressed as Radha shows the elegance and grace we capture, with a beautiful traditional costume and a serene pose.
A radiant smile from a beautiful little Radha. Her yellow ghagra choli and delicate matha patti are part of the wardrobe options I provide for the shoot.
A precious, candid moment between a mother and her baby Krishna. These unscripted interactions are what make the photos so special and full of love.
A full portrait of a little Krishna seated on a miniature chair, showcasing the complete costume with a turban, pearl necklaces, and dhoti, all set against the vibrant Janmashtami backdrop.
A curious little Krishna looking up, surrounded by the festive setup. The details, like the hanging matki and peacock, add layers to the story of the photograph.
A collage showing a little girl dressed as Radha in our Gokul set. This shows the variety of poses, from sitting to standing, that we can achieve in a single session.
About Janmashtami Mini-Sessions: Little Krishnas & Radhas
I run these sessions in efficient, 45-minute slots designed to match your child’s energy levels. You do not need to stress about sourcing costumes, jewelry, or backdrops because I provide the complete Gokul setup—from the outfits to the props like the bansuri and matkis—at my Kandivali studio.
Janmashtami is my favorite time of year at the studio. Every August, I transform my space into a mini-Gokul to capture the 'natkhat' (naughty) spirit of your children. These festival costume toddler shoots are about keeping things simple for parents. You arrive, we dress your little one in our pre-selected Krishna dhoti sets or Radha ghagras, and we spend our time getting those candid, joyful smiles. We focus on the details that make these portraits special, such as the peacock feathers and the makhan pots. Since these are high-volume, date-specific mini-sessions, slots are always limited and tend to book out quickly. If you want a fun, low-pressure way to mark this festival, keep an eye on my booking page or reach out for current availability.
