Join our shared practice sessions, where we come together to chant, meditate, and support each other's spiritual growth. Whether you are new to these traditions or have practiced for years, you are welcome to join us.

An invitation to two special student led programs: Chanting the Names of Noble Manjushri and Prostrations to the 35 Buddhas. These are wonderful opportunities to connect with the community.

A student led session for reading the Diamond Cutter Sutra, a profound Mahayana teaching that cuts through illusion to reveal the boundless nature of reality. The session includes meditation on Shakyamuni Buddha.

We organized special prayer sessions for the swift return of our precious Guru, Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche, including Cittamani Tara mantra recitations and the chanting of his name mantra.

An online group practice for purification and clearing obstacles. These sessions provide a collective space to engage in powerful practices that benefit oneself and all beings.

A statue of Lama Tsongkhapa, founder of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism. We offer teachings and guided meditations on establishing a daily mindfulness practice to calm the mind and body.

A statue representing the lineage of our teachings. We offer practical courses, such as how to live life as a couple with wisdom and compassion, based on the advice of our great teachers.

A depiction of a revered figure in our tradition. Our teachings, like the series on living a Dharma life as a couple, are rooted in the profound advice passed down through our lineage.

About this collection

We believe practice is not about getting it right, but showing up with an open mind. You do not need to be a Buddhist or have any prior experience to join our chanting or sutra reading groups. We provide all the prayer texts, phonetics, and comfortable seating in our Domlur hall, so you can simply walk in and join the rhythm of the group.

These group sessions are the heartbeat of our centre. When we practice together, the combined intention amplifies the merit and peace we generate. We host a variety of sessions, from the profound reading of the Diamond Cutter Sutra to prostrations and mantra recitations. These are not lectures, but experiential spaces designed to clear obstacles and cultivate a calm, focused mind.

What to Expect

Our sessions are open to everyone. If you are new to chanting, we provide digital and printed prayer aids with English phonetics so you can follow along easily. You will find a mix of people, from complete beginners to long-time students, all sitting together. We focus on the spirit of the practice rather than perfection.

Hybrid Participation

We understand that life in Bangalore can be busy. For those who cannot make it to our Domlur centre, we offer hybrid access via Zoom for many of our group practices. This allows you to join from home and remain connected to our Dharma Family wherever you are.

Our Approach

All practices are rooted in the Tibetan Mahayana tradition. Whether we are reciting the 35 Buddhas for purification or engaging in a Medicine Buddha healing ritual, the goal is always to cultivate compassion and wisdom. We operate on a donation-only basis and no one is ever turned away for lack of funds. Your presence is the most important offering you can bring.
