Special Celebrations & Auspicious Days
We observe major events in the Buddhist calendar like Losar (Tibetan New Year), Saka Dawa, and Chökhor Düchen with special pujas, teachings, and community gatherings. These merit multiplying days are powerful opportunities for spiritual practice and generating immense positive energy.
Deity & Guru Pujas
We regularly hold pujas dedicated to specific deities for healing, protection, and blessings, such as the Medicine Buddha and Tara pujas. We also engage in Guru Puja (Lama Choepa) and Tsok offerings to express devotion and gratitude to our spiritual teachers and lineage.
Group Practices & Sutra Recitations
Join our community for shared spiritual activities led by teachers or senior students. These sessions include practices like Prostrations to the Thirty Five Buddhas, sutra recitations such as the Diamond Cutter Sutra, and chanting mantras for purification and peace.
Weekend Teachings & Schedules
We offer a consistent schedule of weekend teachings, both in person and online, covering core Buddhist concepts like Lamrim, Karma, and Mindfulness. These sessions, led by our resident and visiting teachers, are designed for both beginners and advanced students.
Practical Dharma for Daily Life
Our programs extend beyond traditional ceremonies to include practical guidance for integrating Dharma into your everyday life. Learn how to set up a home altar, apply mindfulness at work, or navigate relationships with wisdom and compassion.
Geshe Ceremony at Sera Jey Monastery
We celebrate significant milestones within our Sangha, such as the formal 'Geshe' ceremony for our teachers. Our community had the auspicious opportunity to travel to Sera Jey Monastery in Bylakupe to attend and make offerings during this profound event.
