This is a curated look at how I bring action to life, from training actors on the gym floor to choreographing complex stunts on a film set. It's a glimpse into the process of creating real, believable action sequences for the big screen.
Behind the Scenes: Film & Stunt Direction
A look at my work on the sets of Mollywood and Sandalwood films like 'Aavesham', 'Bagheera', and 'Bheema'. I oversee everything from large-scale brawls to intricate one-on-one fights, ensuring every action sequence is grounded and powerful.
Actor Preparation & Pre-Visualization
This is how we build action heroes. I train actors from the ground up at my HSR Layout gym, focusing on real-world movement skills and safety. We also create detailed pre-visualization sequences to perfect the action before we ever step on set.
Acrobatics & Flips
I incorporate dynamic acrobatic movements like backflips, side flips, and gainers into my choreography for high-energy action sequences. At the Faktory, we teach these skills progressively, starting with fundamentals on crash pads to ensure performers can execute them safely and confidently.
Calisthenics & Strength Conditioning
Powerful action requires a strong foundation. I use calisthenics and bodyweight training to build functional strength, mobility, and injury resistance in actors. This ensures they can handle the physical demands of a role safely.
Handstand & Inversion Training
Handstands are a fundamental skill for developing body awareness, balance, and shoulder stability. I use various handstand drills to condition actors, providing a solid base for more complex acrobatic and fight movements.
The Faktory: Our Training Ground
Welcome to the Chaos Faktory, my HSR Layout gym where all the magic is rehearsed. It's a fully equipped facility with crash pads, obstacles, and rigging points, designed to safely prepare actors and stunt performers for any action sequence.
