Our newborn headbands use super-soft, high-quality elastic that sits gently on the head, perfect for those first photoshoots without leaving any marks. For our braided headbands, we hand-stitch the yarn onto sturdy bases so they stay put during play—it's all about making sure the look is comfortable enough to wear all day.
At CatChica, we believe hair accessories should be fun, not fussy. When I started this journey, I wanted to create things that look great but feel like they were made for real life. For our tiniest clients—the newborns—we focus on sets with delicate crochet flowers, bows, and stars in soft pastel palettes. Because we know how sensitive a baby's skin is, we make sure every headband is lightweight and stretchy.
For the older girls, our braided headbands are the real showstoppers. These are designed to be a bit more of a statement piece. We’ve had so many moms ask for specific colors for dance shows, school events, or just to match a new dress, and that is where the fun starts! Since everything is made in small batches by me and my fierce team (shoutout to Shazia!), we can often customize the colors to match your favorite outfit. We don't believe in mass-producing perfection—we believe in making things that bring a little bit of happiness to your day.
