Handcrafted Panchaloha Bronze Icons
Our most cherished creations, bringing ancient Chola heritage into your home. Each piece is a meditation in metal, crafted with the patience and devotion of our ancestors.
This radiant sculpture of Mahalakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity, is cast in polished Panchaloha. Her four hands, two holding lotuses, one in the wealth-bestowing Varad Mudra, and the other in the fear-dispelling Abhaya Mudra, are all crafted with devotional precision to capture her divine grace.
Here is our depiction of Bhadrakali, a fierce and protective form of the great Goddess. This 32-inch Panchaloha sculpture, framed by a traditional Prabhavali arch, captures her dynamic energy and intricate details, from the weapons in her hands to the cosmic dance of her posture.
We were inspired to create this unique sculpture of Lord Ranganathar, a form of Vishnu in repose, resting upon the serpent Adishesha. This 22-inch long Panchaloha piece captures a moment of cosmic tranquility and divine grace, a testament to the narrative power of Chola bronze art.
This set features Lord Vishnu accompanied by his consorts, Sridevi and Bhudevi. Sridevi represents wealth and spiritual knowledge, while Bhudevi is the embodiment of Mother Earth's fertility. Cast in gleaming bronze, this trio represents the divine balance of preservation, prosperity, and life.
This is the initial wax model for our Heramba Ganapati sculpture. This complex form shows Lord Ganesha with five heads, riding a majestic lion. The wax stage is where every minute detail is sculpted by hand, forming the soul of the sculpture before it is cast in metal.
A finished 15-inch Panchaloha sculpture of Panchamukhi Ganesha, the five-faced form of the beloved deity. Each face represents a different aspect of his divine power. This piece showcases the complexity and symmetry we strive for in our traditional South Indian bronze work.
This is a complete Shiva Parivaram, or Shiva's family, featuring Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, and Lord Ganesha. The 24-inch Panchaloha sculpture is finished with an antique green oxide patina, giving it the timeless appearance of a treasured temple heirloom.
About this collection
Look closely at the fine definition in the facial features and the traditional mudras; these are the results of manual hand-chasing, not machine molds. Because we use the ancient lost-wax process, every idol carries subtle, unique variations in the metalwork, ensuring that the piece you receive is an original creation rather than a mass-produced replica.
Our work centers on Panchaloha, a traditional five-metal alloy renowned in South Indian temple architecture for its resonance and durability. We strictly follow the Madhuchehishthavidhanam process, the same method used by Chola artisans centuries ago to cast temple icons. The journey begins with a detailed wax model, which is then encased in clay, melted out, and replaced by molten metal.
Whether you are looking for a classic antique green oxide finish that gives an idol the look of a temple heirloom, or the radiant, gleaming finish of polished bronze, each statue undergoes extensive cleaning and hand-chiseling after it is freed from the mold. We do not use chemical sprays to artificially age our pieces; the oxidation is a natural, time-intensive process.
We cater to homes, pooja rooms, and temples across the globe, ensuring the sacred geometry and iconography of every deity are respected. If you have a specific iconographic requirement, a preferred size, or a particular deity form you wish to manifest, we can discuss the technical details to create a piece that serves your spiritual space.
Divine Arts and Sculptures
We are a collective of artisans from Swamimalai, living and breathing the Chola tradition. For us, making these icons is a spiritual practice—we chant, we focus, and we wait for the metal to take shape. It is our way of keeping our roots alive, one bronze statue at a time.
