Behind the Scenes: The Reality of Event Architecture

Design is not just about the final photograph. It is about the hours spent with local artisans, the structural planning, and the messy, beautiful reality of making something original happen.

We also apply our design principles to other creative projects, like this cover shoot for Khush Magazine with the lovely Sonakshi Sinha. I'll teach you how to adapt your skills for different contexts, from weddings to editorial set design.

Another angle from the Khush Magazine set. We created a lush, moody environment with layers of green fabric, potted plants, and soft lighting to complement the bridal fashion.

The result of our mindful, sustainable decor: a happy couple, Diya and Arya, at their engagement. Seeing this joy is the ultimate reward for all the hard work and detailed planning.

Another shot of the couple enjoying their beautifully decorated ceremony. My mentorship focuses on creating spaces that not only look good but also feel personal and create lasting memories for your clients.

The pure joy of the couple. This is why we do what we do. My goal is to teach you how to create the backdrop for these unforgettable moments in people's lives.

About Behind the Scenes: The People & The Process

If you are coming to me, know that we will not just pick from a catalog. We build from scratch, and the process is as exhausting as it is rewarding. My work involves spending days on the ground with fabricators in places like Moradabad or Jodhpur, adjusting the tension of a wire or the weave of a fabric until it feels right. You are hiring my eye and my team's hands, not a pre-packaged template.

Originality Requires Risk

I do not believe in the copy-paste school of design. When you look at a final setup, you see the glamour, but my reality involves structural engineering, late-night arguments with carpenters, and managing 43-foot installations. True luxury is not just a high budget; it is the sweat and tiny touches that make a space feel like a living, breathing story.

The Human Element

Every project I take on relies on local partnerships. For the Diya and Arya engagement, we didn't just order a backdrop. We worked with 18 women artisans from North Karnataka who hand-stitched the installation. These women are the backbone of the work. When we use flowers, we work with local growers, and we recycle whatever remains into stationery. My process is about connecting the dots between high-end design and sustainable, local craft.

Technical Precision Meets Art

People ask how we achieve specific finishes—whether it is the floral mechanics for a mandap that needs to last 12 hours without water, or the fabrication of large-scale props. This comes from years of learning the trade, shifting furniture, and understanding materials. From selecting the right technical fabrics to engineering massive pillars that won't sway, I handle the technical chaos so you can focus on the moment.

If you want a safe, standard event, there are plenty of people to call. If you want a setup that feels like an architectural extension of your personality, we should talk. I don't promise perfection, but I promise an original experience that carries the weight of our hard work.
