How the Entry Setup Works

A grand entry is all about the timing and the visual impact. When I set this up, I handle three main components to make sure it looks like a scene from a movie:

• The Path: I roll out a 10-15 foot red carpet. This creates a clear visual focus and gives the birthday star a designated 'stage' to walk on.
• The Visual Effects: I use electronic cold pyro units. These are triggered by my team upon entry, ensuring they go off exactly when the birthday star steps onto the carpet.
• The Fog: The dry ice 'matka' pot effect creates that heavy white cloud that stays low on the floor rather than rising into the air, which makes for better photos and doesn't obstruct the view.

Practical Logistics

I bring 1-2 staff members to every setup. Their job is to manage the flow, trigger the sparklers at the right moment, and help with the decorated cart or Palki if you've opted for one.

Before you book, check with your venue management if they allow pyrotechnics or dry ice, as some hotel banquet halls have specific fire safety policies. If the venue has restrictions, I can adjust the package to focus on the red carpet and floral arch setups instead. My packages for these entrances range from ₹3500 to ₹6500 depending on the number of pyro units and whether you need the Palki or chariot rental.
