About this collection
Our approach to celebrations is rooted in active participation. During festivals like Onam, our students do not just observe; they engage in competitive House-wise challenges to design intricate Pookalams. This requires them to apply geometry, creative planning, and teamwork, turning a traditional cultural activity into a hands-on learning experience.
At BIA Whitefield, we believe that education extends beyond the classroom walls. Our campus life is designed to foster a sense of belonging, pride, and cultural awareness through a diverse array of events. Whether it is the patriotic fervor of our Independence Day flag hoisting ceremony, where students learn the history and significance of our national heritage, or the warmth of Grandparents' Day, every event has a specific objective.
We integrate these celebrations into our broader curriculum to promote holistic development. During STEM fairs and science exhibitions, students learn to present their projects with confidence. When we celebrate festivals, we focus on the values of unity and inclusivity. By giving students the responsibility to organize these events, we help them develop leadership, public speaking, and project management skills that are essential for their future. This environment ensures that every student feels like a 'shining star' and a valued member of the BIA family.
