About Awards & Media Features
People often see the awards and media features, but for me, these aren’t just trophies. They are reminders of the thousands of students whose lives have changed through my academy. Every accolade, including the London Book of World Records for my online teaching revolution, is just proof that real, honest education always beats flashy marketing.
When I started my journey, the goal wasn't to be a celebrity showstopper or to win records. The goal was to teach, 'haath pakad ke' (hand-holding), so that makeup artists didn't have to rely on 'jugad' (hacks) or filters to create good work.
Why These Awards Matter
My recognition in the London Book of World Records for the 'Global Online Makeup Learning Revolution' isn't about me. It's about the fact that I’ve managed to strip away the industry drama and provide real, technical knowledge to aspiring artists everywhere.
A Different Kind of Makeup Education
Most people know me as a makeup artist, but my heart is in the classroom. Whether it’s appearing as a celebrity showstopper or sharing my insights on national platforms like Aaj Tak, I always use the opportunity to tell the truth about this industry: it's not magic, it’s technique.
I treat my academy as a temple. When I speak to the media, I’m not talking about my brand; I’m talking about the importance of proper skin prep, understanding color theory, and why professional makeup artistry is a serious science. If you see me on stage or in the press, it’s because I’m trying to bring more transparency to the makeup world. I want my 'bachho' to know that if they work with the same discipline, they can achieve the same level of recognition.
Bhumika Bahl
I started as a makeup artist, but teaching is my true purpose. These awards aren't about my ego; they’re about the impact my 'bachho' are making in the industry today.
