Behind the Scenes of My Hands-On Design Process
Design isn't just about glossy renders. It’s the late nights, the material selection, and being right there on site until everything feels just right. See how I bring my projects to life.
My work is my passion, and it involves everything from late nights at the workshop to detailed site inspections. This video shows a little bit of the journey, from the hands-on process to being recognized with the Zee Business India Design Award. It’s all about dedication to creating the life I dreamt of.
I believe you should be able to see and feel your new space before making any decisions. That's why I do room staging, like this session at HomeTown, to help you experience the materials, finishes, and overall vibe. It’s all about clarity and confidence in your choices.
About My Hands-On Design Process
I don't believe in handing over a design and walking away. Whether we are doing room staging at stores like HomeTown to test finishes or I am physically marking electrical points at the site, I need to see it, touch it, and feel it before it goes into your home. This way, there are no surprises during execution—just clarity.
My design process is built on one simple rule: no cookie-cutter solutions. When you work with Beyond Boundaries, you aren't just getting a 3D plan; you are getting a partner who is on the ground with you.
The Process Behind the Pretty Pictures
1. It starts with you, not the catalog Before I even open AutoCAD, I need to know your quirks. Do you prefer a cozy chai corner or a kitchen that can handle a full-blown Diwali feast? We start by mapping your lifestyle, not just your room dimensions.
2. Real-world testing I take my clients for room staging sessions to stores like HomeTown or local material hubs. You need to touch the laminates from Greenlam and feel the hardware from Hettich before committing. It helps you avoid the 'this looked different in the photo' regret later on.
3. Site ownership I’m the person you’ll see at the site, checking if the false ceiling lights align perfectly or ensuring the electrical points for the modular kitchen are exactly where we need them. My team and I handle the coordination, from site survey and laser measurements to final decor staging.
Why this matters for your budget
By focusing on detailed technical documentation—like our MEP layouts and Bill of Quantities (BOQ)—we minimize wastage and rework. Whether we are using high-quality HDHMR for durability or planning your false ceiling, the goal is always clear: a space that is functional, durable, and completely yours. No vague guesses, just a transparent plan.
