How We Capture the Milestone

Every child is different. Some are bold explorers ready to dive into the cake, while others are cautious observers. I have spent years working with toddlers in my Mulund studio, and I know that the best photos come when we follow their lead.

The Setup Whether you have a specific vision like a jungle safari or a classic boho-tent setup, we build the scene around your child's interests. I keep the wardrobe stocked with premium rompers, suspenders, and headbands, so you don't need to hunt for outfits. The focus is always on bright, airy, and timeless portraits that highlight their expressions, not just the decor.

The Process

• Formal Portraits: We start with clean, classic shots before the mess begins.
• The Smash: This is the high-energy part. I use professional strobe lighting to catch every smear of frosting and every surprised giggle in high resolution.
• The Clean-Up: Every cake smash package includes a bubble bath sequence in a miniature tub. It serves a practical purpose, but it also happens to be where we get some of the most genuine, joyful reactions.

Planning Your Shoot If you are planning for a first birthday, reach out a few weeks in advance. This gives us time to color-coordinate the backdrop and balloons with your preferred cake style. We can shoot on weekdays or weekends, depending on your child's nap schedule—I am happy to work around whatever time of day keeps them happiest.
