Integrated Study Nooks for Kids' Bedrooms

We integrate study nooks into existing room layouts by utilizing vertical space, often tucking desks beneath loft beds or alongside wardrobe units. Every study area we build uses 18mm BWR plywood to ensure durability for daily student use.

How we approach study spaces

1. Ergonomics: A desk is only useful if it is comfortable. We ensure the table height and lighting positions align with your child’s needs.

2. Space Efficiency: In many Bangalore homes, floor space is limited. We often build the study table as an extension of the wardrobe or beneath a raised loft bed. This saves floor area while providing a dedicated zone for books and laptops.

3. Lighting: Good work requires good visibility. We include LED profile strips or recessed ceiling lights specifically for the study desk to reduce eye strain.

4. Storage: Every nook includes overhead shelving or integrated drawers to keep stationery and school supplies within reach but off the desk surface.

Materials and Finish

We use 18mm Boiling Water Resistant (BWR) plywood for all load-bearing components. This provides the strength needed for a workspace that gets heavy daily usage. The surfaces are finished with anti-scratch laminates to handle years of wear, and we apply 2mm PVC edge banding to ensure there are no sharp, hazardous corners.
