About Youth & School Races: The Next Generation of Champions
Every race we host for youth is strictly managed with professional RFID timing chips and dedicated marshals, ensuring the competition is both fair and safe. We use age-categorized grouping, from U-9 through U-16, to ensure that every participant, regardless of their experience level, gets a legitimate racing experience rather than just a casual ride.
Building the Next Generation
Racing is more than just speed, it is about learning discipline, handling equipment, and respecting fellow riders. We have been organizing events in Bangalore since 2009, and our youth program is an extension of that heritage. We believe that if you start them young, you develop a lifelong passion for the sport.
Race Safety and Standards
Safety is our primary concern for our junior participants. Unlike our adult road races, our youth events are held in enclosed campuses or controlled off-road tracks to eliminate traffic risks. Every participant is required to wear a helmet, and our volunteer marshals and medical teams are stationed across the route to provide constant support. We treat junior races with the same rigor as our elite categories, ensuring that the finish line feels like a real accomplishment.
Category Structure
We break down our junior races into specific age groups: U-9, U-11, U-14, and U-16. This segmentation allows children to compete against peers of similar developmental stages, keeping the racing fun and challenging. We also include a non-competitive 'fun ride' category for those under 6 who just want to experience the track and the race day atmosphere without the pressure of timing.
What to Expect on Race Day
- Professional Timing: Even for our youngest racers, we use RFID timing to provide accurate, competitive results.
- Race Materials: Participants receive official race numbers and bibs, just like the pros.
- Support: Access to medical standby and on-course hydration.
