Our Approach to Traditional Design

When we talk about a traditional mandir, we are looking at bringing the scale and feel of a temple into a domestic setting. Our designs prioritize the authentic look of solid wood, using high-end melamine or PU polish to achieve a rich, deep finish. This ensures the unit looks grounded and substantial, rather than like standard modular furniture.

Material and Structure

• BWP Marine Ply: We use BWP (Boiling Water Proof) marine grade plywood for the structure. This is essential for longevity, especially in Bangalore's climate, ensuring no warping or moisture damage near the prayer area.
• Marble Surfaces: Our standard temple units feature 18-20mm thick white marble or Corian platforms. Marble provides the traditional aesthetic and a cool, clean surface for offerings.
• Hardware & Detail: Each unit comes with a set of 5-7 hanging brass bells. We integrate these with turned wooden pillars and a stepped cornice, giving you that classic Gopuram-style silhouette.
