I bring energy to your Haldi and Mehendi functions with bright, traditional setups. Whether you want a simple home ceremony or a grand hall stage, I handle the details so you can focus on the rituals.

A unique Haldi and Mehendi backdrop featuring a green foliage wall and triangular structures decorated with marigold and jasmine garlands. A neon sign adds a modern touch.

A traditional Haldi stage decoration with a green velvet backdrop, yellow and gold sequin drapes, and a "हळद" (Haldi) sign in Marathi script.

A creative and colorful photo wall for a mehendi or sangeet. The pink patterned backdrop is decorated with circular patterns made from marigold flowers and mirrors.

This Haldi setup features two large brass urlis for the ceremony, set against a green artificial grass wall with hanging floral strings and marigold borders.

A grand and colorful Haldi stage. I used a floral arch with sunflowers, a royal white sofa, and decorative Rajasthani umbrellas to create a festive look.

A lovely home Haldi decoration. I created a photo wall using a green foliage backdrop, hanging pictures of the family, and bright yellow drapes for a pop of color.

This video shows the details of a traditional home decoration for a wedding event, including a custom "शुभ विवाह" (Happy Wedding) sign and elegant drapery with fairy lights.

About Vibrant Haldi & Mehendi Decor

When we plan your Haldi or Mehendi, I focus on setups that actually work in your specific space. For home ceremonies, I use modular foliage walls and light marigold strings that do not clutter your room, while still giving you that perfect backdrop for photos. I also bring the essential props like Urlis or Rajasthani umbrellas so you do not need to hunt for them yourself.

My approach to Haldi and Mehendi decor is about blending traditional ritual requirements with a setup that looks good in modern photos. I typically work with an 8x8ft area, which is perfect for most Mumbai living rooms, but I can scale this up for larger halls if needed.

What I Bring to the Table

  • Backdrops: I use artificial grass walls or Gota Patti curtains as a base. These are clean, reusable, and provide a great contrast for the yellow and orange marigold garlands.
  • Traditional Elements: I incorporate brass Urlis for the Haldi ceremony, often accented with floating flowers and candles. For Mehendi, I can set up low seating with floor mattresses and bolsters to keep the vibe relaxed and lively.
  • Personalization: If you want specific signage in Marathi like "शुभ विवाह" or "हळद", I can include that to make the space feel truly yours. I also use Rajasthani umbrellas and tassels to add color.

Practical Logistics

Since I handle the transport and setup, you do not need to worry about the logistics of moving heavy props or arranging fabric. I arrive early to assemble the backdrop, mount the fairy lights or neon signs, and ensure the seating area is ready before your guests arrive. My goal is to make sure the decor supports your ceremony without getting in the way of your family traditions.
