About My Debut EP: Mahamaya
These two tracks are the result of endless nights in the studio, balancing the mystical Sanskrit roots of the title track with the raw, aggressive basslines of 'Manyu'. When I play these live, I'm not just spinning other people's records—I'm testing how my own sound hits a real crowd, making it perfect for events that want a high-energy, original sound profile.
Producing 'Mahamaya' wasn't just about making music; it was about defining my identity as an Indian techno artist. I wanted to move away from the standard commercial sounds you hear everywhere and lean into something deeper—something that feels like a sonic odyssey.
The Tracks
- Mahamaya: This is the heartbeat of the EP. It draws from the Hindu concept of cosmic illusion, blending hypnotic, driving melodies with heavy percussion. It is designed to mesmerize the floor.
- Manyu: The darker sibling. Named after the Sanskrit word for passion and anger, this track brings an intense, atmospheric texture that works best when you want to take the room into a more introspective, bass-heavy headspace.
Why it matters for your event
When you hire a DJ who is also a producer, you get more than just a setlist of chart-toppers. You get a live performer who understands how to build tension and release energy in a room because they wrote the music themselves. Whether you are hosting a club night in Delhi or a festival in the mountains, bringing in an artist with their own catalogue gives your event a distinct edge that standard playlist DJs simply cannot match. If you want a 135-140 BPM performance that feels fresh and powerful, this is the sound I bring to the booth.
