Whether it is a flaky croissant or a rich cupcake, I capture your treats so they look as good as they taste. Every dessert has a story.

A trio of chocolate cupcakes, each topped with buttercream frosting and a bright red cherry. I used a clean, white background to make these treats the star, perfect for a bakery menu or a dessert blog.

Here, I wanted to capture the fun of a rainbow pastry. Holding the slice up against a backdrop of colorful bokeh lights creates a celebratory, magical feel that makes you want to take a bite.

A close-up shot of jam-filled cookies stacked in a tower. The moody lighting and tight focus on the bite taken out of the front cookie create a sense of indulgence and rustic charm.

A stack of chocolate-glazed donuts set against a dark background with soft, warm lights. This moody photography style highlights the rich texture of the glaze and creates a cozy, late-night treat vibe.

A classic pairing of a flaky, golden-brown croissant and a layered chocolate dessert in a jar. The bright, warm background makes the textures pop, creating a clean and modern look for a cafe menu.

Who says muffins can't fly? This levitation video shows chocolate muffins floating playfully, demonstrating a creative and eye-catching technique I use for brands wanting to create scroll-stopping social media content.

An action shot capturing Oreo cookies splashing into a glass of milk. The high-speed photography freezes the motion, creating a dynamic and fun image that's perfect for a commercial campaign.

About this collection

You do not need massive studio sets to make a dessert look tempting. I work from my home studio in Navi Mumbai, using a Canon M50 with a 50mm lens to capture those textures—the flaky layers of a croissant or the swirl of buttercream. I focus on creating a mood using rustic wooden boards, vintage books, and soft light, ensuring the dessert stays the hero of every frame.

My Approach to Sweet Photography

Food photography is about more than just lighting; it is about capturing the craving. Whether you are a cafe owner looking to refresh your menu or a home baker needing social media content that stops the scroll, I am here to help.

Styles I Work With

  • Bright & Airy: Perfect for cafes and menus where you want the product to look clean, fresh, and inviting.
  • Dark & Moody: I love playing with deep shadows and warm lighting for artisanal bakeries or dessert brands that want a cozy, indulgent vibe.
  • High-Key Commercial: Clean, white-background photography optimized for apps like Swiggy, Zomato, or Amazon listings.

The Process Everything happens in my Navi Mumbai studio. I manage the styling, using my own collection of props—from antique cutlery to dried florals—to build a narrative around the food. If you need dynamic shots, I specialize in levitation and motion photography, like splashes or floating muffins, which adds an element of fun to your digital ads.

Technical Details I shoot with a Canon EOS M50 Mark II and a 50mm prime lens, which gives that beautiful, blurry background to make your product pop. For lighting, I use a mix of controlled softbox setups and natural window light, depending on the mood we want to create. Post-processing is done in Lightroom to ensure colors are true to life, especially for menu catalogs where consistency is key.

If you have a specific vision or just want to chat about your brand, reach out. Let's make some magic with your desserts.
