You do not have to trade comfort for that raw outdoor experience, and most of these sites are fully pet-friendly so your dog can tag along for the trek.
When planning a quick escape, the biggest headache is usually the trade-off between roughing it and staying in a sterile hotel. I look for the middle ground. Whether it is a riverside camp in Kanakpura or a dome stay near Wayanad, the focus is on the setting, places where you wake up to birds, not traffic.
