Stage Performances & Professional Dance Workshops

Performing live is a different beast than teaching a routine in the studio. It is not just about the steps, but about handling the stage lights, the smoke, and the immediate energy you get from the crowd, all of which I bring back into my training sessions to keep my own choreography fresh and exciting.

When I am not in the studio teaching, you will find me either on stage or right at the back of someone else's class, trying to catch every detail. For me, stage performance is the ultimate test. You have the lights, the cheering audience, and zero room for second-guessing yourself. I have performed at everything from local fun fests to organized showcases in Bangalore, and each one teaches me how to command a space rather than just execute a routine.

Equally, my pro workshops are non-negotiable. Dance is evolving every day, and learning from other master choreographers—whether it is a slick locking sequence or a complex Bollywood routine—keeps my own choreography from getting stale. I am always a student first. Whether I am tackling a 'Kala Chashma' showcase in a packed auditorium or sweating it out in a deep-dive workshop learning the nuances of a 'Talli Hua' routine, I am constantly evolving. This is where the 'Bollywood guy' gets his training, and honestly, it is the best part of the job.
