Wrestling & Jiu-Jitsu Training: Master Ground Control in Saket
Fights often end on the ground. Whether you are building a base in wrestling or tightening your submissions in No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu, this is where you develop real control.
This is the essence of wrestling in MMA: a dynamic takedown. One student executes a double-leg takedown, demonstrating the explosive power needed to take the fight to the mat.
Jiu-Jitsu is human chess. This video shows the constant movement and strategy involved in No-Gi grappling, as two students roll and transition between positions, each looking for an opening.
Technique over everything. This sequence shows a smooth transition from side control to an armbar, followed by a technical escape and a counter-submission. This is the high-level grappling we teach.
It's all in the details. A coach demonstrates how to use an elbow to create space from bottom half guard, setting up an underhook to take the opponent's back. This is the kind of technical detail that wins fights.
A student practices a takedown, lifting his opponent before bringing him to the mat. This drill builds the strength and technique needed for dominant wrestling.
The fight for position starts on the feet. Two grapplers engage in hand-fighting, each trying to gain control and set up a takedown.
A grappler works to secure a submission from the top position, demonstrating control and pressure on the mat.
A student applies a triangle choke, using his legs to control his opponent's posture and secure the submission. This is a classic BJJ technique.
A dynamic scramble on the mat during a No-Gi roll. Both grapplers fight for a dominant position, showcasing the agility and adaptability required in jiu-jitsu.
Caught in a tough spot, this grappler works to defend a choke while his opponent maintains tight control. This is where mental toughness is built.
About Ground Game: Wrestling & Jiu-Jitsu
Grappling isn't about brute force. It is about using leverage to control an opponent, even if they are stronger than you. In our No-Gi sessions, we prioritize technical movement over strength. You will learn to chain takedowns into submissions, escape from disadvantageous positions, and understand the flow of a fight once it hits the mat. We keep the environment controlled so you can learn without constantly getting injured.
Why No-Gi?
We focus on No-Gi wrestling and Jiu-Jitsu because it translates directly to real-world self-defense and MMA. Without the gi to grab, you have to master underhooks, pummeling, and hip positioning.
