About Traditional Drawing & Painting
Why I Draw
Art keeps me grounded, happy, and honest. I pour my imagination into each piece, whether it’s a dreamy landscape or a portrait filled with feeling. Sometimes it’s tough, but I stick to it - mehnat ka phal meetha hota hai (hard work pays off).
The Mediums I Use
- Oil pastels are my jam. I love playing with thick colors using a palette knife, which gives my work a textured, almost 3D look. If you like oil pastel landscapes that you almost want to touch, that’s what I do best.
- I use my fingers for blending, especially when I want smooth, dreamy skies.
- Pencil, pen, and charcoal are for when I want to focus on the power of lines. My spiritual sketch art, like Nandi Maharaj or Hanuman ji, means a lot to me. I’m still learning with charcoal - not perfect yet, but improving.
What I Like to Paint
- Calm scenes with mountains, meadows, and flowers, like lavender and cherry blossoms.
- Whimsical moments - cats under a glowing moon, clouds, or peaceful trees.
- Detailed, spiritual portraits and sketches, especially of gods and mythological scenes.
My Process
Every artwork takes patience and effort - koi shortcut nahi hai (no shortcuts here). I build up layers, add texture, and keep experimenting. Each piece feels like a step forward, and I hope it brings you some joy too.

My Story
Hi, I’m Somesh. Art for me? Pure feeling, yaar. Sometimes, I just stare at my digital work – no words, only vibes. Winning 'Best Student of Kalantar' from Raju Srivastava ji, unforgettable. Miss him. 2024 started with a fresh vector art, and some pieces eat up 25+ hours. Still, mehnat ka maza hi alag hai (hard work feels different). That Ram Darbar for Ayodhya temple, pure khushi. Habibi, abhi or karna hai – I’m just getting started.
My Work
What I Do - Digital illustrations (vector art, portraits), leaf art, wall paintings, pencil/charcoal sketches, oil pastels, packaging, logo design.
Custom Digital Vector Portraits - My main love. From your fav person to Mahakaal, I spend hours making it perfect.
Intricate Leaf Art Designs - I carve portraits, temples, Adiyogi on leaves. Try holding it up to the sky – next level.
Religious Wall Mural Painting - Painted a huge Hanuman Ji for a gym, full power vibes. I can bring your walls to life too.
Custom Artwork - Got an idea? Tell me. I’m always experimenting, always improving.
