How We Build Your Vision
When you approach me for a symbolic piece, we aren't just picking a color palette. We are creating a narrative for your wall. My process for these projects is collaborative and methodical:
- The Consultation: We start by talking about the symbols you love. Whether it is a lotus representing purity, cranes for grace, or a specific animal that holds personal meaning, I listen to the story you want to tell.
- Digital Mockups: Before any paint touches canvas, I provide 1-2 digital mockups. This allows us to see how the proposed layout looks against your actual wall photo. We adjust the placement, the scale, and the color balance to ensure it complements your existing furniture and lighting.
- The Execution: Once the design is locked in, I use high-pigment acrylic paints on 10-12oz cotton duck canvas. I apply multiple layers to ensure deep, rich colors—especially for the symmetrical backgrounds that ground these pieces.
Practical Details
Every piece I deliver is ready to hang. I use heavy-duty, cross-braced internal frames that are 1.5 inches deep, giving the art a solid, gallery-quality profile. I also finish every painting with a non-yellowing isolation coat and a professional matte or satin varnish to protect the surface from dust and humidity.
Because these are symmetrical, alignment is everything. When I deliver your work, it comes with installed D-rings and wiring, so you don't have to deal with complex installation issues.
