About Andamans & Philippines: Unique Expeditions

There is a massive difference between these two spots, and we help you navigate both. While our Andaman trips focus on pristine, easily accessible reefs that feel like a local getaway, our Philippines expeditions are about history and big encounters, including diving through WWII shipwrecks in Coron and finding rare Thresher sharks at dawn in Malapascua.

Dive Into History and Wildlife

The Andamans: Your Backyard Paradise We believe the Andamans are the easiest way to get your ocean fix without the long-haul travel. Our trips to Chidiyatapu are all about tight-knit group diving in some of the most vibrant reefs in India. You get the perfect mix of dense, lush rainforests above water and clear, thriving reefs below. Since we keep our groups small, the vibe on the boat is relaxed and personal, perfect for both fun divers looking to log dives and students finishing their certification.

The Philippines: A Diver’s Bucket List If you are ready for something more intense, our Philippines expeditions are exactly what you need. We head to Coron to explore the submerged Japanese fleet from 1944. It is surreal to drift over these massive historical structures that have been claimed by the ocean. Then we move to Malapascua, where the primary goal is the rare, elusive Thresher shark. These trips are structured as true expeditions—expect early mornings, plenty of boat time, and the kind of camaraderie that only comes from shared adventure.

How We Organize These Trips We handle the logistics so you can focus on the diving. In both destinations, this includes:

  • Expert dive guidance to keep you safe and comfortable.
  • Accommodation that keeps the group together.
  • Local transfers and all internal logistics.
  • A community-first approach where you share meals, stories, and the occasional laugh about a dive gone wrong.

We started Aquanaut because we know that feeling of being a landlocked diver in Bengaluru. Whether we are exploring historical shipwrecks in the Philippines or navigating the vibrant reefs of the Andamans, we make sure the focus remains on small, tight-knit groups and pure, safe fun.
