We head to Coron to explore the submerged Japanese fleet from 1944. It is surreal to drift over these massive historical structures that have been claimed by the ocean. Then we move to Malapascua, where the primary goal is the rare, elusive Thresher shark. These trips are structured as true expeditions—expect early mornings, plenty of boat time, and the kind of camaraderie that only comes from shared adventure.
