About Behind the Scenes at Aquanaut
When we built this space, we didn't just want a retail shop with rows of gear. We wanted a place for Bangalore’s ocean lovers to actually hang out. That artwork on our wall? It was a gift from a student who failed his first swim test, went away, practiced in a river, and came back to get certified. That painting is a daily reminder of why we do what we do—it is never just about the gear, but about the people who join this journey.
Building this space on Brigade Road was a two-month labor of love. We took a raw, empty room and converted it into a community hub where divers can gather, talk about upcoming trips, and get honest advice without the sales pressure. As a PADI 5-star center, we needed an environment that felt like home for the diving community in namma Bengaluru.
We host our monthly AQUANITE meetups here, where the focus is on sharing stories from the ocean rather than just browsing equipment. Whether you are prepping for a Maldives liveaboard or just starting your journey with an Open Water course, this shop is where you find your people.
