Diving with blurry vision takes the magic out of the experience. I fit high-quality prescription masks right here in Bangalore so you can finally see the reef, not just blurry shapes.

This is the Saekodive mask we use for custom prescription lenses. It's a durable, comfortable mask that fits a wide range of face shapes, making it an ideal choice for divers who need corrective vision.

About Prescription Masks: See the Underwater World Clearly

If you wear glasses, you know the frustration of squinting at marine life. I use durable Saekodive frames that we assemble right here in the shop. Since we stock lenses from -2.0 to -7.0 in 0.5 increments, I can typically have your mask ready for the water in about 10 minutes.

The biggest myth I bust in the shop is that you just have to deal with blurry vision underwater. You really don't. While some divers try wearing contact lenses, it's risky—water getting into your mask can wash them out, and it's a hassle to deal with while focused on buoyancy or air consumption.

Why a Dedicated Prescription Mask?

When I fit a prescription mask, I'm focusing on two things: seal and clarity. We use Saekodive frames because they fit a huge variety of face shapes, which is the most important part of avoiding a leaky mask. We replace the standard tempered glass with optical-grade lenses that are scratch-resistant and built for pressure.

The Process in Bangalore

If you drop by my store on Brigade Road, here is how we handle it:

  1. The Vacuum Test: Before we even look at the power, we test the frame on your face to ensure it seals perfectly without needing a strap.
  2. Custom Assembly: I pop out the standard lenses and install your specific prescription. We cover diopters from -2.0 to -7.0 in 0.5 increments.
  3. Quick Turnaround: The whole assembly takes about 10 minutes. You can walk in, test it, and walk out with your gear ready for your next trip.

If you aren't in Bangalore, I can ship these anywhere in India. Just reach out with your power, and I will get your mask prepped and sent to you.
