Engagement and Sangeet Photography: Capturing Your First Steps

About Engagement & Sangeet Celebrations
When I shoot an engagement or sangeet, I don’t just watch for the standard poses. I spend time capturing the moments between the moments—a nervous glance before the ring exchange or the way friends react during a spontaneous dance. These aren't just photos; they are the earliest memories of your life as a couple. Since I handle the post-production myself, I make sure you get these high-resolution, color-corrected edits within just one week of the event.
Engagement and sangeet photography in Pune requires an eye for the intimate and the energetic alike. My approach is simple: I stay out of your way so you can actually feel the day instead of performing for the camera. Whether it is a formal ring ceremony at a banquet hall or a lively sangeet in an outdoor garden, I look for the anokha andaz—the unique way you look at each other when you think no one is watching.
Why focus on the candid?
Most people have plenty of posed photos by the end of their wedding. My goal is to capture the things that happen in between: the laughter during a choreographed dance, the shared look during the cake cutting, or the quiet conversation on the side of the stage. These moments tell your story better than any directed portrait can.
What to expect from our session:
- Authentic Portraits: We will take some time for portraits, but I keep them relaxed. You will not find me asking for forced smiles or rigid positions.
- Ritual Respect: I understand the nuance of Maharashtrian ceremonies and other traditions. I know when to step in for a detail shot of the jewelry or mehendi and when to step back to let the family dynamic unfold naturally.
- Quick Turnaround: I know you are excited to share the news. That is why my engagement package includes high-resolution, color-corrected images delivered within seven days.
If you want a record of how your journey began, rather than just a photo album of decor and guests, let’s talk. I am based in Pune and comfortable shooting across Maharashtra.
