Meet the Puppet Crew: Behind the Ventriloquism Act
I’m Anil, and behind every laugh is my team of troublemakers. Meet Rancho, Ducky, and Pandit Ji—the real stars who keep the show going.
Rancho watching a poster of Rancho. A moment of self-reflection for our main star, who is never short on confidence.
A classic argument on stage between Rancho and Ducky. Their contrasting personalities and constant bickering create some of the funniest moments in our show.
Here you can see me switching from Rancho to Ducky mid-performance. Each puppet has a distinct voice and personality, which keeps the act fresh and dynamic.
Ducky and Rancho discussing marriage plans. While Rancho wants to marry a girl to have someone cook for him, Ducky explains the reality of modern relationships.
Ducky interacting with a lively anchor at a birthday party. His charming yet mischievous nature makes him a hit with audiences.
Introducing Pandit Ji, our wisdom guru. Here he advises that to solve fights with your wife, you should worship her along with God. His advice is always... unique.
Here are two of my other puppet characters, Jojo and Tony, surprising a spiritual guru. We have a whole family of puppets to bring variety and fun to our shows.
About this collection
People often ask if I am actually talking, and while the voice is mine, the attitude is definitely theirs. My act is not just about throwing my voice; it is about character dynamics. When Rancho and Ducky bicker about marriage or Pandit Ji gives life advice, I am essentially the mediator in a room full of chaotic puppets.
The Personalities on Stage
Every puppet I bring to the stage has a specific role. They are not just props; they are defined characters with opinions, backstories, and distinct voices that connect with different age groups.
- Rancho (The Monkey): My partner in crime for seven years. He is sharp-tongued, loves a good roast, and is not afraid to call out anyone in the front row. If you want the event to have high-energy, unfiltered comedy, Rancho is the one to call.
- Ducky: The contrast. He looks innocent but has a quick, sarcastic bite. He is my go-to for interactive crowd work and often plays the straight man to Rancho’s antics.
- Pandit Ji: He brings the 'gyaan' (wisdom), but it is always delivered with a twist. He is perfect for adding a funny, cultural layer to the performance.
Why This Works for Your Event
My shows are built on interaction. I do not just stand behind a mic; I move through the crowd, letting my crew talk to your guests. Whether it is a corporate gala or a private birthday, I shift the personality of the act to suit the vibe.
- For Corporate Events: We keep it professional but punchy, integrating your brand or company culture into our roast.
- For Families & Kids: The humor stays clean, focused on slapstick interactions and relatable family observations.
Ultimately, the puppets are just a medium. The real goal is to make sure your audience stops looking at their phones and starts laughing. If you are planning an event in Delhi NCR or beyond, drop me a message, and let us see which puppet fits your guest list best.
Anil Singh
I am Anil, and for the last seven years, my hand has been stuck inside a monkey puppet named Rancho. We have done over 400 shows, and honestly, the puppets are more popular than I am. They have all the opinions, and I just provide the voice.
