Featured Stage Highlights: Professional Emcee & Moderator
A look at the energy I bring to the stage—from high-stakes corporate panels and government summits to fireside chats with India’s biggest icons.
As a moderator, my job begins before the guests even take their seats. Here I am at the Shiprocket Shivir event, setting the stage and building anticipation to welcome Mr. Piyush Bansal, the visionary founder of Lenskart. Creating the right energy is key to a successful fireside chat.
A great fireside chat feels like a natural, engaging conversation. During this session with cricket legend Virender Sehwag, I used a mix of lighthearted questions in Hindi about his favorite food and actors to build a comfortable rapport before diving into deeper topics. This interactive interview style helps the audience connect with the speaker on a personal level.
Sharing a moment with the incredibly talented and humble Boman Irani at the HSBC Gratitude Gala. It was an absolute honor to moderate a session with him. My approach to celebrity interviews is to create a relaxed atmosphere where their genuine personality can shine through.
Hosting government events requires a specific tone of formality and respect. Here, I had the distinct privilege of introducing the Honorable Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari ji, at the launch of Rejubit. My preparation for such events includes in-depth research to ensure my introductions are accurate, respectful, and highlight the dignitary's key achievements.
Kicking off the Shiprocket Shivir 2025 event in Delhi. As the opening host, my goal is to energize the room and set a positive, forward-looking tone for the entire summit. I often blend formal English with relatable Hindi phrases to welcome and engage a diverse audience of visionaries and entrepreneurs.
The launch of the Great Cricket League was all about high energy and entertainment. As the event emcee, I thrive on creating a buzz, interacting with the crowd, and ensuring a seamless flow as we introduce the teams and special guests on stage.
This showreel is a glimpse into my journey as a global emcee across corporate, lifestyle, and television events. It captures years of dedication to my craft, from engaging large audiences to facilitating intimate panel discussions, all driven by a passion for creating memorable live experiences.
About Featured
When I step on stage, the difference isn't just in the mic work; it is in the hours spent before the event starts. I do not just read off a list of questions. For every panel or fireside chat, I commit 4 to 6 hours into researching the industry, vetting speaker backgrounds, and scripting the flow. This ensures you get a conversation that actually delivers value, rather than generic Q&A that leaves the audience disengaged.
Beyond the Script: My Approach to Event Hosting
Event hosting is more than just keeping time. Whether it is a corporate summit, a government policy forum, or a sports league launch, my role is to act as the bridge between your vision and your audience.
The Research-First Method I believe in the 'no winging it' philosophy. If I am moderating a tech summit, I spend time understanding the nuances of the industry—be it fintech or enterprise technology—so that my questions are intelligent, not just prompt-driven. I research the panelists' recent achievements to craft personalized introductions that make them feel valued from the moment they step on stage.
Energy & Bilingual Engagement An audience needs to be energized, not lectured. My hosting style is highly interactive. I use a mix of formal English and polite Hindi to ensure that every attendee, regardless of their background, feels connected to the proceedings. I monitor the room's energy levels in real-time, using humor, Hindi phrases like 'zordar taliyan' (big round of applause), or quick audience check-ins to keep the vibe buzzing, especially during post-lunch lulls or technical delays.
Protocol & Professionalism When dealing with CXOs, ministers, or high-profile guests, I maintain strict protocol compliance. From formal salutations to crisis management during unscripted moments, I ensure that the flow remains seamless.
