About this collection
When hosting for pharma audiences, the challenge isn't just maintaining energy; it is respecting the protocol while ensuring the room stays focused. I balance formal award presentations with interactive table activities, making sure that even long conference hours feel intentional and engaging for every attendee.
Hosting with Purpose in the Pharma Sector
Corporate hosting—especially in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry—is rarely about just reading a script. It is about understanding the 'why' behind the event. When I hosted the 'Voice of Cipla' events, the objective was to transform a high-stakes competition into a shared experience where every participant felt valued.
My Approach to Corporate Events
-
Protocol & Precision: For AGMs, conclaves, and award ceremonies, I prioritize structure. This means working with the Run-of-Show (ROS) 24 to 48 hours in advance, ensuring VIP names and designations are handled with the respect they deserve, and managing speaker time limits without making the transition feel abrupt.
-
The Human Element: Large corporate conferences can often feel distant. I use table-based icebreakers and interactive segments to turn a room full of strangers into an engaged team. Whether it is a quick trivia session or facilitating a Q&A between leadership and the floor, I focus on keeping the conversation authentic.
-
Adaptability: Every corporate environment has a different temperature. Some events require the formality of a leadership summit, while others, like annual parties or R&R nights, need that extra spark of energy to get people celebrating. I read the room in real-time, adjusting my banter and delivery to match the corporate culture of the day.
From managing technical cues like LED reveals to ensuring that the vote of thanks is delivered with sincerity, my goal is to be the anchor that lets the organizers focus on their content, while I take care of the connection.
Aashna Kochar
I’m Aashna. For me, an event isn't just a venue and a mic—it’s a room full of people waiting to connect. Whether I’m standing before industry leaders at a pharma conclave or keeping the energy high at an R&R night, my only goal is to make sure every person in that room feels like the event was tailored for them.
