The details make the design. The tables were styled with jute placemats, candles, and simple floral arrangements in rustic vases, with a hookah adding to the relaxed lounge vibe.

I don't just place furniture on a lawn. To get that authentic bohemian feel, I mix textures like macrame and jute with specific, warm lighting—bistro string bulbs and rattan lanterns—to make sure the space feels intimate even if it’s a large venue.
When I style a sundowner or a bohemian-themed party, my goal is to create a relaxed atmosphere where guests feel comfortable enough to kick off their shoes. The secret is in the layering. Instead of standard stage setups, I work with low wooden pallet seating, jute rugs, and floor cushions to break down the physical barrier between the guest and the event.
Whether it’s a villa in Lonavala or a terrace in Mumbai, I adjust the flow based on the venue. For outdoor lawns, I focus on overhead lighting by using hundreds of feet of bistro string bulbs to act as a natural roof, creating a cozy canopy for the evening. For smaller indoor or semi-outdoor spaces, I shift the focus to floor-level details like cane lanterns, pampas grass arrangements, and macrame accents to add height and visual interest without making the room feel crowded.
My process is hands-on. I select every prop, from peacock chairs to custom-monogrammed coconuts, to match the specific shade of your theme. We do not use stock setups. If you have a specific venue in mind, I visit the site first to understand the natural light and layout so the decor complements the space rather than hiding it.
