This is the first glimpse into my practice and teaching philosophy. It’s a curated collection that showcases the blend of strength and softness, the importance of props and personal guidance, and the joy that yoga brings to my life and the lives of my students.
Guided Practice: Hands-On Adjustments
In my private and group classes, I provide gentle, hands-on support to help you find correct alignment and deepen your understanding of a pose. This personalized guidance ensures you can practice safely, build confidence, and get the most out of every asana, regardless of your experience level.
Yoga with Props: Making Asanas Accessible
My shala is fully equipped with props like chairs, straps, blocks, and a yoga wall, inspired by the Iyengar method. These tools are not crutches but keys that unlock poses for everyone, helping to build body awareness, ensure proper alignment, and allow for deeper, safer exploration of asanas.
Group Classes & Workshops
Join our community in Koramangala, Bangalore, for dynamic group classes or specialized weekend workshops. We explore everything from foundational Hatha and Ashtanga flows to advanced topics like arm balances and backbends, all within a supportive and energetic environment.
My Personal Practice: Advanced Asanas
This collection showcases the advanced asanas that are part of my personal daily practice. It is a result of years of dedication, discipline, and a deep love for exploring the body's potential for strength, flexibility, and balance. This practice informs my teaching and inspires my students.
Yoga Beyond the Studio: Practice in Nature
I often take my practice outdoors to connect with the elements. Whether on a beach, in a forest, or at an ancient temple, practicing in nature deepens the spiritual aspect of yoga. It reminds me that our mat is wherever we are, and the world is our studio.
Yoga for Everyone: Kids & Family Fun
Yoga is a wonderful gift to share with children, and my playful, fun-filled kids' yoga sessions are designed to do just that. I also love incorporating my own son into my practice, showing that yoga can be a joyful activity that brings the family together, building strength, balance, and connection.
Movement & Play: My Explorations
My journey is not limited to the yoga mat. With a background as a theatre artist and dancer, I love to explore all forms of movement and play. This includes everything from acro-yoga with friends to creative physical challenges, all of which enrich my understanding of the body and its expressive potential.
