About Jewellery & Accessories
When you pick up a piece here, you are not just buying an accessory; you are connecting with the person who shaped it. Whether it is a pair of brass earrings from a Himachal master or intricate tribal beadwork, you can walk right up to the creator, ask about their materials, and hear the story behind the craft.
Why Handmade Jewellery Matters
At our events, we want to change how you look at what you wear. Instead of picking up something from a store shelf, you are choosing a piece that holds the mark of a human hand. We feature artisans from all over India, bringing their ancestral skills—like Kundan Jadau Meenakari, silver filigree, and hand-painted wood—directly to our markets in Bengaluru.
What You Will Find
- Traditional & Heritage: Kundan, Jadau, and intricate metalwork that keeps age-old techniques alive.
- Contemporary & Casual: Modern mixed-metal designs, textile jewellery, and colourful beads perfect for everyday wear.
- Handcrafted Accessories: Beyond jewellery, you will find leather Kolhapuris, embroidered juttis, and unique mobile slings crafted by our community members.
The 'A Hundred Hands' Difference
We don't believe in middlemen. When you buy from our stall partners, your money goes directly to the person who made the item. It is a simple way to ensure these crafts continue to thrive. Come visit us at our next Festival of Handmade at venues like Freedom Park or Jayamahal Palace to meet these makers, see their technique up close, and find a piece that speaks to you.
A Hundred Hands
We are Mala and Sonia, and we believe that 'Haute' is handmade. We started A Hundred Hands in a garden with a simple goal: to get unknown karigars out from behind the scenes and straight into your hands. No middlemen, just honest connections.
